PREPARED BY R.W. BROTHERS WILIAM NOGGLE and KENNETH FLESHER – REVISED 1980
PURPOSE:
To provide a competitive, interest-creating inspection attendance award system for Lodges in the 21st District and to provide a better opportunity for lodges, large and small, to compete on a more level playing field.
CONDITIONS:
The award is made to the lodge in the district having the best attendance of their own members, at their own inspection each year. The following formula is to be used to provide an equal chance.
- Members in attendance of the lodge inspected, divided by the number of members shown on the last annual report of the lodge equals the percentage in attendance.
- The percentage in attendance is then multiplied by the appropriate multiplier in the table below.
- The lodge with the highest total is to receive the plaque award. The plaque will remain with the winning lodge until next yearβs winner is determined.
- To maintain uniformity, each individual yearly plaque shall be engraved with the Lodge Name, Number, and Year ONLY.
- NO LODGE SHALL KEEP THE PLAQUE MORE THAN TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS. IF NECESSARY, THE PLAQUE WILL BE AWARDED TO THE SECOND PLACE WINNER FOR ONE YEAR.
- THE DECISION OF THE DISTRICT DEPUTY GRAND MASTERS SHALL BE FINAL.
